DR. CRAIG T. NAKAMURA, M.D.
Dr. Craig Nakamura obtained his MD from the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine, Honolulu, Hawaii. He then completed his pediatric residency at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children, Honolulu, Hawaii and also was chief resident there. He held a pediatric pulmonary fellowship at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, CA.
Currently Dr. Nakamura is the director of Children’s Lung Specialists and works in association with University Medical Center for the Cystic Fibrosis Center in Las Vegas, NV. Dr. Nakamura also oversees the neonatal/pediatric care program at Sleep Logistics and reads the majority of the pediatric polysomnograms it performs. Since 2002, he has been a member of the Clark County Medical Society. Dr. Nakamura is a board-certified pediatric pulmonologist.
RYAN YOSHIKAWA, MSN APRN
Ryan Yoshikawa is a Nurse Practitioner who received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2000 and Master of Science in Nursing in 2006 from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He worked as a pediatric nurse from 2000-2006 at Sunrise Hospital before coming to work for Children’s Lung Specialists.
Currently, Ryan PROVIDES CARE TO BOTH PEDIATRIC PULMONARY AND CYSTIC FIBROSIS PATIENTS. HE IS A MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF NURSE PRACTIONERS.
DR. ANGELICA E. HONSBERG, M.D.
Dr. Angelica Honsberg, an assistant professor in the UNLV School of Medicine Department of Internal Medicine, graduated from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia.
She completed her internal medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University and a pulmonary fellowship at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Honsberg is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Honsberg, who complete a critical care fellowship through the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine, has worked for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System since moving to Las Vegas in 1994. She has a particular interest in cystic fibrosis and is the adult director for the VA Southern Nevada Cystic Fibrosis Center.
Her research on snoring, which is associated with an increasing prevalence of hypertension, stroke and ischemic heart disease, was published in CHEST, the official journal of the American College of Chest Physicians.
